Salted Chocolate Oat Milk


Delicous, nutritious and super easy

Try and make your own oat milk, you’ll be surprised how simple it is!

Making this is a doddle, costs barely anything, is delicious, is family-friendly and is packed full of nutrients.

Keep a container of it in the fridge for after school or work treats.

Makes 1 litre





100g rolled oats

large handful of pitted dates

2 tablespoon agave/cane sugar/brown sugar/honey/brown rice syrup any sweetener you fancy

900ml water

80g cacao or cocoa

Pinch of himalayan pink salt/sea salt

  1. In a blender (I swear by a Nutribullet, they’re so convenient, affordable and powerful) add the water, dates and oats. Blend until oats and dates are blended in the water

  2. Sieve the mixture over a large bowl

  3. Add the oat milk to the blender again, adding the rest of the ingredients. Blitz until smooth. Add more sweetener to taste if required

  4. Store in the fridge and use within 3 days, it won’t last long though!
